Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop computer. The integrated drag & drop functionality will allow you to easily move files between your desktop computer and the web hosting server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your personal computer and then drag it into your browser. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your computer. In addition, you can download files and even folders to your hard disk by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager user interface, you can create a brand new file or folder with only a single click. All action buttons are handily placed above the file/folder list and you can update your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, preview the contents of a file or change its permissions, erase a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you will be able to zip and uncompress all types of files. It works astonishingly fast - simply select the files you wish to make a compressed archive of and click the Compress button. You can even select the archive file type (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract files from an archive to a selected folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you really do not need any external software in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to preview the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will in fact show up online. Plus, you will find a set of built-in file editors, which will grant you full command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more proficient users, whereas the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
